You will be sleeping in the Gypsy Caravan, which was last on the road only 3 years ago in Lancashire and Cumbria.
It has a good sized bed comfortably sleeping a couple, the bed is 6' 6" long and 4' 4" wide, most waggons have a much smaller bed; the larger bed was installed for greater comfort by the last owner.
There is an area available for a fire so you can cook outside; if you have never tried this I would urge you to have a go, instruction and help is on hand, even if it's just to make the tea.
In the modern caravan, which is sited next to the waggon (Gypsy Caravan), there is seating, tables, toilet, shower, hot water, fridge and gas cooker.
All bedding, cutlery and crockery are supplied, as is a small stack of wood for the fire, more can be purchased.
You can buy fresh eggs from us and sausages, seasonal vegetables are also available. There are shops in the nearby villages of Glemsford and Long Melford which has a small COOP. There is a farm shop in Glemsford and farmers' markets are held in Long Melford and Hartest, both of which are 3 miles away.
Glemsford has 5 pubs, Long Melford even more, and 4 local breweries between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds! The nearest pub is the Crown in Glemsford, 1 mile walk agross the fields. The Crown offers good food, specialising in vegetarian dishes.
There are numerous places to eat for those not wanting to cook; we can recommend some in the surrounding villages and towns.
